Before I installed my cc, I tried playing Goth family once in Pleasantview, and I've already the flickering even though the game ran fairly fast. You will see a TS3 W.exe file, open his properties (of the file of course), and select "Run as an administrator" and "Windows XP SP3 compatibility" options and run the game.
