WebJan 28, 2014 · What the person told me (she knew the owners), was that the farmer had hundreds of sheep and a holistic farm. Eagles (I assumed more than one) over time killed their sheep. They kill an animal on the ground and eat it there. At this point, my babies would be too big for an eagle to lift (they're about 25 lbs).
